All cards are designed and assembled by individuals with special needs in the Beyond I CAN program in Muncie, IN. Different materials are used, such as, paper handmade by the artisans, beads, and fabrics. All jobs are important and the artisans take great pride in the work they do.
Wheelchair art is made when artisans with special needs choose from a variety of paint colors and design tools to create unique works of art. This art experience allows participants to build self-confidence by focusing on their abilities instead of their disabilities. Our artisans then select and mat prints that are offered on this website.
