Beyond I CAN | Sponsorship

SPONSORSHIP:

Many have inquired about ways they can help support Beyond I CAN to further its mission and/or the program's participants. The sponsorship program is designed to foster implementation of the motto, “I CAN” which prevails in all actions and activities of Beyond I CAN artisans. The funds are directed to either the Beyond I CAN group or to an individual artisan based on the wishes of the sponsor. Sponsorships are designed to be a win-win for the sponsors and the artisans where the motto, I CAN, prevails and is practiced by all.

The Beyond I CAN program offers participants the opportunity to learn vocational and life skills that will help them contribute to the community while developing self-respect and the highest level of self sufficiency. Workers develop an artistically based line of products to display and market in their gallery and gift shop.

Sponsorship Kits

Every sponsor will receive a special kit which includes the following items:

Sponsorship certificate
Artisan's profile & photo
Work samples
Beyond I CAN overview
Speaker service from Beyond I CAN artisan or leaders
Newsletters and brochures
An invitation from the artisan to visit Beyond I CAN as their guest

Individuals, groups, businesses, and organizations can become sponsors by pledging a monthly, semi-annual, or annual amount to be directed to the Beyond I CAN group. Your sponsorship will reach into the life of an artist, at Beyond I CAN to help make employment in a safe and secure environment a reality.

Parent Support and Volunteers

Beyond I CAN is so pleased to have a wonderful team of volunteers, many of whom are parents of our workers, that are always there to assist with the daily operations of the store, work area, and parties.

Hi, I'm Leslie's Mom and am so pleased Leslie has the opportunity to attend Beyond I CAN where she has a special job created just for her. The job meets her needs so well. Leslie was injured and suffers from traumatic brain injuries that cause her hands to shake and she has had problems finding a job that's right for her. Actually, her teachers have been working for the past several years to find something special she can do where she has ownership, pride and enjoyment. I am so thankful for Beyond I CAN.”

Ball State University Students

Each semester we host at least 20 Ball State education students needing to fufill volunteer class requirements. The students not only experience and learn as they participate, but Beyond I CAN benefits in many positive ways from their work with us.
